ABSTRACTION


Medicine Supervisor Big Couch and Food (POM) Jakarta, announce investigation and laboratory result towards food sample, like wet noodle, tofu and salty fish. from 98 samples, 56 was positive infected by formaline, like wet noodle. from 23 wet noodle and curly samples, 15 samples positive contains formaline. and so do salty fish from 34 samples, as much as 22 positive samples. While tofu from 41 samples, 46,3 % positive contains formaline. Therefore we do a research to know that, was extract pangium edule reinw can replace the function from formaline as a preservative in food that doesn't dangerous. The result that we got from this research is, pangium edule reinw was proved can be made in the place of natural preservative and not dangerous.
