This bachelor thesis criticized how the position of students defined in Freire's frame point and how it's defined in national system of education, also how the relation between them. this study is a descriptive analysis of the problem how students posited as subject. Freire's philosophy of education point of view stands as a critical education system as a kind of social critic that tries to develop a dialogical relation between education and social context. based on that view, freire took side on students' side as subject began by put dialogue as main aspect in educational process.this kind of dialogue demanded a balanced relation between teachers and students that derived from love, generosity, hope, trust, and critical action. dialogue as a fundamental part of the structure has to stay open tp any other subjects on the process. more, education faces problem where any conscientiation enabled, where teachers and students are in even position, also where teachers involving themselves dan stimulating the critical thinking of the students in direct actions. but as can be seen in the national system of education, the students' position as subjects is not yet fulfilled. some of the regulation of the education only explained explicitly about the students' position. worse, the teachers' role still works centrally and dominantly. the basic curricullum since independent era through reformation still placed students as objects where the teachers are the subject. only after the Act no 20 year 2003, with the formation of KBK (curicullum based on competention) and KTSP, the students are directed to a certain source and learning subject. but still, the pressure in learning and teachers' domination still shows the opression for the students in school. by all that reason, the urgency of reordering national education that firmly orienting students' interest as subject and the specific and distinctive regulation that arrange the even relation between students and teachers both as subjects in education so in the future there would be no longer oppresing domination inside it.
