Judul : Hubungan antara Self Disclosure terhadap Pasangan dengan Kesiapan Menikah pada Dewasa Muda yang Berpacaran



Untuk menciptakan pernikahan yang sukses, diperlukan kesiapan menikah dari individu itu sendiri agar siap menyandang peran barunya dalam pernikahan. Kemampuan individu untuk memahami situasi serta tuntutan pernikahan juga didukung oleh pengetahuannya mengenai hubungan interpersonal (Blood, 1969), salah satunya adalah pacaran. Untuk mengembangkan hubungan dengan pasangan lebih jauh, self disclosure penting untuk dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara self disclosure terhadap pasangan dengan kesiapan menikah. Dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner, sebanyak 62 orang dewasa muda yang memiliki karakteristik antara lain berusia 20-30 tahun, sedang menjalani hubungan pacaran dan telah memiliki rencana menikah, berpartisipasi menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self disclosure terhadap pasangan dengan kesiapan menikah (sig=0,001, p<0.01, r=0,405). Di samping itu, diketahui dimensi pengungkapan diri mengenai penampilan dan kebutuhan fisik merupakan dimensi yang berkontribusi paling banyak terhadap kesiapan menikah. Sebagai tambahan, tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara self disclosure dengan kesiapan menikah pada subjek yang belum memiliki rencana menikah. Selain itu, subjek yang memiliki pengalaman berpacaran sebelumnya dan subjek yang sudah memiliki pekerjaan ternyata memiliki skor kesiapan menikah yang lebih tinggi. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini juga membahas implikasi praktis dan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Title : The Relationship between Self Disclosure with Marital Readiness in Young Adult


Marital readiness is required in creating successful marriage. The ability of individuals to understand the situation and the demands of marriage is also supported by knowledge of interpersonal relationships (Blood, 1969), one of them is dating. To develop relationships with partners, self-disclosure is important to do. Therefore, this quantitative study aimed to examine the relationship between self-disclosure with marital readiness in young adult. By using questionnaire, a total of 62 young adults who were 20-30 years old, in relationship and had plans to get married, participated into this study. The result of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between self-disclosure with marital readiness (sig = 0.001, p <0.01, r = 0.405). This study also found the dimension of self-disclosure that contribute most to the marital readiness is disclosure about appearance and physical needs. In addition, no significant relationship between self-disclosure with marital readiness on subject who do not have plans to get married. Subject who had previous dating experiences and subject that already have a job have a higher score of marital readiness. Finally, implications of these findings and suggestions for future research are discussed.

AFTA in Indonesia 2010

ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) is the ASEAN free trade area where there are no tariff barriers (import duties 0-5%) and non-tariff barriers for the member countries of ASEAN, the AFTA-CEPT scheme.

The AFTA agreement was signed on 28 January 1992 in Singapore. When the AFTA agreement was originally signed, ASEAN had six members, namely, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Vietnam joined in 1995, Laos and Myanmar in 1997 and Cambodia in 1999.

Common Effective Preferential Tariff Scheme (CEPT) is the stage of the program and the elimination of tariff reduction of non-tariff barriers mutually agreed by the ASEAN countries. So in the conduct of trade among members, operational costs can be reduced so profitable.

In the CEPT-AFTA scheme goods - items included in the tariff scheme is all manufactured products, including capital goods and processed agricultural products, and products that are not included in the definition of agricultural products. (Agricultural products are sensitive and highly sensitive excluded from the CEPT scheme). Population explosion resulted in increasing population numbers, but not matched by any significant economic growth.

Condition of Indonesia's economy is increasingly uncertain cause many problems in life. One is the increasing levels of poverty population in both rural and urban, which resulted in the reduced ability of residents to meet the needs of primary, secondary, and tertiary.

With the decline of import duty of imported goods can make the domestic market has more competitors. With the reduced demand for the domestic market can disable local producers can not compete with imported goods. Reduced consumer interest to make production cuts that resulted in an increase of unemployment.

Indonesia has not been able to have a policy in favor of small and medium entrepreneurs. Government should be able to limit the entry of imported goods that can harm small and medium businesses in Indonesia.
